Joseph and the Circle Out! team would like to offer a special thank you to all of the great individuals who have spent considerable time and effort in making the Circle Out! game possible.

These individuals have gone the extra mile in developing graphics, video and many other materials. Others have spent time reviewing and offering feedback during the development of Circle Out!

Numerous other neighbors, friends, and relatives have offered encouragement that has all played a great part in helping me to persevere.

Don Ashley – Executive producer at the Osprey Observer, a community newspaper in Brandon, FL.

Don was attending BYU Education Week when he met Joseph and offered to do a video on YouTube introducing the new Circle Out! card game.

Advertising Class (BYU)

To succeed with the new Circle Out card game, I knew that I needed much more education about business that I already had. In order to gain these skills, I have taken several classes outside of my proposed major. Two of these classes required that we do group projects. In both cases, the professors were willing to work with me and allowed me to use the new Circle Out card game as the subject of the class project. This was a great benefit to me and the development of the new Circle Out card game. I was able to draw upon the suggestions and talents of my professors and those who volunteered to work with me in the groups.

Professor Robinson – Professor Robinson helped me to understand basic principles of advertising. This was valuable to me especially, because I didn’t previously understand the basic concepts of advertising.

We were separated into groups and each group was assigned a product that we had to research and create an advertising plan for. Our group was permitted to use the new Circle Out card game.

Group members included Anthony Abbott, Mark Matthews, and Andy Morrison.

Entrepreneurship Class (BYU)

Professor Scoville – Professor Scoville introduced me to the fundamentals of starting and operating a business. Her encouragement, I believe, was a critical part of my decision to pursue the development of the new Circle Out card game.

The project for this class was to start a business. The business, of course, had to do with the new Circle Out card game.

Group members included: Jessica Merrill, Hillary Prock, Robert Sjoberg, Peter Ure, and Kathleen Dunn.

Layne Miller

Layne Miller – As a manager in the BYU Bookstore, Layne has repeatedly provided Circle Out Games LLC an opportunity to promote the new Circle Out card game.

By allowing us to demonstrate the new Circle Out card game in the BYU Bookstore during special events he has provided a favorable environment that has resulted in many sales and great contacts from around the country.

Dan Sorenson

Dan Sorenson – A talented artist, Dan designed the graphics for the new Circle Out card game box.

His donation of time and talent has been invaluable to getting the new Circle Out card game off the ground.

Jessica Merrill

Jessica Merrill – Designed the new Circle Out card game Logo that appears on the back of each card and on the front of the game box.

She did a fantastic job. This was the first step toward designing real paying cards for the new Circle Out card game.

Wayne Lytle

Wayne Lytle (Dad) – Most of the new Circle Out card game website was designed by Dad who knows more about web design than I do.

He has always been supportive of the new Circle Out card game project and has been invaluable to its success. His encouragement has helped to carry me through the more difficult times of this project.
